Do you speak freely of your faith? Are you able to go into the work week, into your school, and among your friends and talk about your relationship with God? It’s difficult because we don’t know how others will react. At work, we fear retribution from our employer because we may not be politically correct. At school or in front of our friends, we may appear weak if we demonstrate reliance on an unseen Jesus Christ. Even in our own homes, we get consumed in the day-to-day affairs of life and often don’t pause and realize that Jesus is in our midst.

Everyone has a moral compass. God gives us instructions in His Word on how to live our life. If we choose to use the Bible as our guide and reference, we should be proud of the fact and be able to talk about it openly to all. It’s easy to talk about other important things in our life – jobs, kids, sports – so if Jesus is the most important part of our lives, it stands to reason that we can talk freely about Him and the great things He has done for us. |

Father, help me proclaim your Word and the saving power of Chris Jesus. Cast away all fear and doubt, and remove any obstacles that stand in the way of proclaiming your goodness. Empower me to be strong and confident in my faith. Amen
