I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people. I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high. (Leviticus 26:12-13)
And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome. (Acts 23:11)

Over the last several years I have come to look back on my years of middle and high school which regularly point to what I and my closest friends never did. We never once talked about God, church, heaven, faith, belief or hell. It bothers me to no end; to have gone so many years “WITHOUT.” |

God is in fact walking among us, all of us. We are his people and we are to walk with heads held high. We are to be Christians of good cheer even through the worst of days. How else will others know we are Christians? We are to testify and witness with joy in our hearts. How else will others know we are Christians? |

Father God, thank you for breaking the bars of my yoke and enabling me to walk with head held high. Amen and Amen |
