His Handiwork
Howard peterson
Listen
Let Your work appear to Your servants, And Your glory to their children. And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands. (Psalm 90:16-17)
Inquire
And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, “How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?” When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” (Mark 2:16-17)
Faith
When I am living the day for ME, I am sure that God has NOT established the work of my hands. When I am living the day trying to follow Jesus’ example: Give to those in need- to those that are sick; then I am sure that my hands will be established as part of the beauty of the Lord our God’s handiwork!
Experience
Father God when needed; may we sweat, bleed, ache and have calluses all for the Glory of building your Kingdom. Amen and Amen
